I'm just dropping in here to rant.

I was driving down the road and AT&T and Verizon were having a battle of the billboards all the way down Interstate 294 in Chicago.

"We have the fastest 5G network!" one of them enthused.
"We have the most complete 5G!" another shouted .. (in a billboard sort of way).

"Wow! I thought. "I can have the fastest 5G network .. or the most complete 5G coverage. What a choice!"

Imagine all the things I could do with this.

I could ... um ... or maybe I could ... uh ...

Well...

I'm not sure.

You see. I have absolutely no idea what a 5G network is. So here these two advertising behemoths are spending millions of dollars in advertising furiously fighting for the right to my 5G, and I'm totally clueless.

In fact, I'm so out of the 5G loop, I couldn't tell you why it's better than a 4G, or a 3G, 2G .. 1G.

Or 3D

Or H1N1

Or any other number/letter combination.

And what's worse, I feel totally out of the loop. Everyone ELSE knows what a 5G network is. Everyone except me.

So I've betrayed my ignorance ... and now I shall slink away, to watch my favorite PG13 movie.
